£1,700 And Rising
We all had a fantastic time at the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon last weekend and managed to finish 7th in 9hrs 33mins, which of course now means Innes wants to return to win it. Not sure how many more years my knees will take that kind of punishment though! I am approaching £1,700 raised for Mary's Meals and Mercy Corps, so thanks very much to everyone who has already very generously donated to these charities. There was a lot more interest at the event and I was asked to hold off doing the draw to allow more donations to come in this week. So the draw will now be held on Monday 21st July to allow a final few raffle tickets to be sold. Good luck to those with tickets! https://secure.artezglobal.com/registrant/TeamFundraisingPage.aspx?teamID=62309&langPref=en-CA I am taking part in the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon next weekend with my son Innes. The event involves a 1.3km swim, a 25km hill run, a 11km kayak and a 57km cycle. I will be happy to finish but Innes wants to finish in the top 10. Really looking forward to it!
We are fundraising for Mercy Corps and Mary's Meals, the event's nominated charities and I am offering the oak rocking chair below as a raffle prize to go to one lucky donator. If you would like to donate and be entered into the raffle (one ticket per £5 donated), you can find our fundraising page at https://secure.artezglobal.com/registrant/TeamFundraisingPage.aspx?teamID=62309&langPref=en-CA All donations to these excellent charities are gratefully received.
